WE ARE RUNNING OUR FIRST COMPETITION

UK ART CONTEST: TOGETHERNESS

IT IS COMPETITION TIME AT MOCKINGBIRD PRESS:

For first time Mockingbird Press Bristol is organising a Uk contest. We want to join forces with artists from the Uk to think of the theme “Togetherness” in these days of uncertainty.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1- The submissions can be new or already published original artwork by artists over 18 years old from United Kingdom with the theme “Togetherness”.

2-To participate submit your work through your personal instagram with the hashtag #mockingbirdpressart (in the post) ( hashtag in comments will not count as submission), follow and tag our account @mockingbirdpress_uk 

2-There is no submission limit so feel free to submit several designs with the topic (each submission in a different post)

3-We are accepting any 2d artwork that can be printed: Illustration, painting, drawing, photography, collage, digital or traditional art, it is up to you! 

4-The submitted work can be any size but we recommend you to upload it with the maximum quality possible.

5-By submitting you declare you are the owner and creator of the original artwork

6-Artwork will not include mature content or violence

7-By submitting you agree that we can repost and share your artwork in our social media channels for artist’s promotion purposes.

8-The competition starts at 12:00 pm on the 6th of April and will end at 12 midnight of the 10th of May 2020. Entries received after this date and time shall not be considered for entry under any circumstances.

9-Work that does not fit within the Conditions of Entry will not be admissible and will not be considered for prizes.

10-In addition, the Company reserves the right to disqualify a work, where in the reasonable view of the Company:

1. The work does not meet any of the entry criteria;
2. The Artist cannot be contacted;
3. The Artist does not respond within 48 hours of being contacted by the Company.

 11- Prizes are money vouchers exchangeable for Fine Art prints of any design desired by the artist in High resolution (provided by the artist) as follow:

• 1st- £150
• 2nd-£75
• 3rd- £50

12-The 3 prizes are exchanged for Giclée fine art prints of any original artwork of the artist and files sent to mockingbird press will have to be in High res RGB and 300 dpi

13- The prizes vouchers will expire on the 10th of August so artists have 3 months after the competition is finished to exchange their prize for art prints from our studio 

14-The competition is not open to members of Mockingbird Press

 15-The winners of the competition will be firstly notified by email and secondly published in our Social channels on the 15th of May.
