ROBERT ANTELL
Creative Director
Robert studied graphic design and illustration in Bristol, graduating in 1982.
He has spent nearly all his adult life in the field of Design, Printing and Publishing. As a graphic designer, Robert has worked for an impressive list of clients such as AXA, BMW, HTV, Royal Ordnance, AA Travel, Vickers plc, Sun Life, WHSmith and English Heritage.
Robert was previously a member of North Bristol Artists, where he designed and produced the art trail brochure, map and poster for several years.
Mockingbird Press is a member of Bristol Creatives.
LAUREN MARIA HILL
Account Manager
Lauren is a Bristol-born artist and has been part of the team since 2016. Her artworks range from contemporary painting, murals and object-type art. Lauren manages communications and the production schedule, as well as artist liaison and social media. When in the studio, she assists with photography, use of Adobe creative suite and all things print.
LOUIS ANTELL
Production Director
After working for four years in the scanning department of an international printing company, in the Autumn of 2015, Louis decided to bow out of corporate life and join the staff at Mockingbird Press. Son of Robert and Sharon, Louis is a natural addition to the business, and has taken on the role of production director.
Marta Zubieta
Production Manager
Marta is a Graphic Designer and Illustrator, her artistic career spans Pop Surrealism Art and Merchandise. Her work has been selected for projects such as Bristol Pound 2018, Threadless and Go Wild Gorillas. Here at Mockingbird Press, Marta focuses on many aspects of production; digital editing, reproduction, merchandise, illustration, social media and will be happy to help you bring your printing ideas to life.
JOE BARKER
Production Executive
Joe is a visual artist from Nottingham and is the newest addition to the Mockingbird family.
After completing an MA in graphic arts, Joe spent 2 years working for a well known UK contemporary artist before deciding to make time to focus more on his own work and joining the team. He currently sells his artwork across the world. As a professional visual artist, Joe is a perfectionist when it comes to colour matching, and will ensure that your reproductions are the highest accuracy.
MARTHA GAVIN
Production Assistant
Martha is an illustrator and designer specialising in illustrative logo design. She also runs her own online business Scribble Print Studio creating contemporary portraits and art prints.
Although most of her work is now created digitally she trained traditionally. With a love of painting, life drawing and printmaking she understands the importance of reproducing artwork to truly reflect it’s original qualities. Martha is a member of North Bristol Artists and takes part in the Arts Trail regularly.
KATIE LOUISE
Production Assistant
Using watercolour as her medium, Katie creates animal and nature-based illustrations as well as pet portraits.
Katie graduated from The University of the West of England, in 2014, where she studied Drawing and Applied Art. She has worked on commission and collaborated on creative projects since then, with exhibitions in London, Cirencester and Bristol.
